This week I created a new networking group - Nashville Legal Professionals! I am always looking for new ways to meet people and network and I was surprised that there's no networking group for people in the legal profession in Nashville (I'm a paralegal). Especially since people who work in law firms usually love to socialize. Here is the information I wrote for the group on Meetup:
"Nashville Legal Professionals (NLP) is a networking group for anyone in the legal profession! Whether you're an attorney, paralegal or legal secretary, law student, or you're just interested in law, this group is for you! These events are for meeting others who share your common interest or legal profession. Come on out and socialize with us in Music City!"
I am the official organizer and we will have fun events all around town. Our first event is on October 20th at Greenhouse Bar! Click here to learn more- guests are welcome - tell all your friends!
If you haven't heard of Meetup you should really join- there's so many fun groups and events on there! It is the world's largest network of local groups. More than 9,000 groups get together in local communities each day, each one with the goal of improving themselves of their communities. Meetup's mission is to revitalize the local community and help people around the world self-organize.
Just click around the site and search your favorite activities and you will probably find many groups to join!
What do y'all think of the Meetup site- let me know your experiences if you've gone to Meetup events before!
